What Is Therapy?
This is a question new clients often ask me. Therapy is a space to explore your feelings and emotions—a process of self-discovery and growth. As we move forward, it becomes a place to learn skills and techniques to manage emotions, relationships, and challenging situations. The journey toward living your best life begins with a desire to address behaviors or patterns that may no longer serve you.
Healing is a process—we can’t skip steps.
About Me
I believe the most important part of life is the journey.
I have served in community-based nonprofit organizations, focusing on case management and integrated care coordination. I later transitioned into clinical roles in community health centers and hospitals. Most recently, my work has centered on outpatient and inpatient behavioral health with adolescents, adults, and seniors.
My career path has led me through many roles and settings, each one shaping the clinician I am today. I bring a unique blend of academic knowledge and real-world experience that allows me to stay grounded and authentic in my work.
I draw from several therapeutic approaches in both individual and group settings. At the core of my philosophy is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
